Jason Guidangen values openness, sincerity, and engaging in the meaningful. Committed to personal development through lived experiences, he relishes in the opportunity to make an impact, to do the important things, and to learn and grow through it all.
As an associate with Normal Next he is working to design an online community for health equity leaders across the United States.
Guidangen recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with an honors BA in Government and Security Studies. He was a member of the Longhorn Band, the UT Fencing Club, and Pi Sigma Alpha.
He was an intern at the Department of State in Washington, D.C., where he worked to equip our nation’s diplomats with timely, well-researched deliverables as well as develop an improvement strategy for his bureau.
Guidangen also spent time working as a legislative aide in the Texas House, volunteering for state political campaigns, and running a nonprofit chapter on campus to support and raise awareness about North Korean human rights issues.
Currently, he is also a Legislative Intern for Equality Texas. When he’s not researching bills or working on design jobs, you can find him pursuing creative passion projects, brewing specialty coffee, and simply enjoying a good time where possible.
